# Dynamic Controls

Dynamic easing adds `E&W2` controls to the layer and applies an expression that reads those controls. This lets you change the easing after applying it.

## Control Modes

Ease & Wizz 2 can create controls in three ways:

* `Full (Plugin)` - one native Ease & Wizz 2 effect with dropdowns and sliders
* `Full (Sliders)` - individual After Effects dropdown and slider controls
* `Minimum (Sliders)` - only the `Easing` and `Type` dropdowns, with default parameter values inside the expression

See [UI Mode](/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/controls/ui-mode.md) for the full comparison.

## Control Names

Single-property setups include the property name in the control name, such as `E&W2 - Position`.

When applying controls multiple times, Ease & Wizz 2 adds a number to avoid name collisions, such as `E&W2 - Position - 2`.

## Shared and Individual Controls

Use `Shared Controls` when several properties should follow one easing setup. Use `Individual Controls` when each property should be adjusted separately.

See [Multiple Properties](/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/controls/multiple-properties.md) for details.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://plugin-everything.gitbook.io/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/getting-started/dynamic-controls.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
