# Curvaceous Mode

Curvaceous mode lets Ease & Wizz 2 work with properties that should not be eased by directly calculating numeric values.

Instead of easing the property value, Ease & Wizz 2 eases the time between keyframes. After Effects then evaluates the property at the eased time.

## What This Means

For numeric properties, Ease & Wizz 2 calculates the value itself.

For Curvaceous properties, Ease & Wizz 2 asks After Effects for the value at an eased moment in time. This preserves native interpolation for shapes, masks, text documents, and similar property types.

## Automatic Detection

In the Dynamic workflow, Curvaceous mode is chosen automatically per selected property. You do not need to enable a checkbox.

Numeric properties use normal value easing. Non-numeric or arbitrary-value properties use Curvaceous mode.

## Why It Matters

Automatic Curvaceous mode makes mixed selections safer. You can apply easing to a group of properties, and Ease & Wizz 2 chooses the right expression behavior for each property.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://plugin-everything.gitbook.io/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/reference/curvaceous-mode.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
