# Supported Properties

Ease & Wizz 2 can be applied to keyframeable properties that support expressions.

## Numeric Properties

Numeric properties use value easing. Ease & Wizz 2 calculates the eased value between keyframes.

Common examples include:

* `Position`
* `Scale`
* `Rotation`
* `Opacity`
* Color properties
* Slider values

## Shape, Mask, and Other Non-Numeric Properties

Some After Effects property types cannot be safely interpolated as raw numbers. Ease & Wizz 2 handles these with automatic Curvaceous mode.

Common examples include:

* Shape paths
* Mask paths
* Text documents
* Markers
* Layer index values
* Mask index values

See [Curvaceous Mode](/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/reference/curvaceous-mode.md) for how this works.

## Unsupported Selections

Ease & Wizz 2 cannot apply expressions to properties that After Effects does not allow expressions on.

If nothing happens, or After Effects refuses the expression, check that the selected property is keyframeable and supports expressions.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://plugin-everything.gitbook.io/plugin-everything-docs/ease-and-wizz-2/reference/supported-properties.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
